Join us for a Homeschool POD meetup at Douglas A. Blake Field in Hackettstown!
These Meetups are FREE to the community and are open to anyone considering or committed to homeschooling. They are appropriate for ages 0-10.
Even if your child is still young to participate in the activity, it is never too early to get out and start building connections within the homeschool community!
We will meet in the big parking lot and walk together to the pavilion. Homeschool Mama and Author Kristyn Gentile will read her book "Count Your Chickens Before it Rains" and then lead a lesson/activity about chickens! She will have books for purchase, too.
Afterward, we will explore more of the area and do the hike through the woods. Feel free to bring snacks/lunch, too. We usually hangout until the kids let us know they're ready to head home.
