I am a homeschooling mama of two boys. They are my inspiration for building connections within the community and creating a supportive homeschool space to share with like minded families. I have a professional background in Education and hold certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Educational Leadership. After teaching for 10 years, I resigned and stepped away from the classroom to focus on what’s best for my own children. This gave me the opportunity to create a space where like minded homeschool families can gather, connect, and grow together. Outside of Homegrown, you can find me hiking, biking, spending a lot of time outdoors, or learning something new!

I am a dedicated homeschooling mama to two little girls (Eevee 4 & Lizzie 2), Lizzie being a Cerebral Palsy warrior. My journey with homeschooling has been incredibly rewarding, and it inspired me to want to create a supportive community for families just like mine. I went to Penn State for professional writing and I have a professional background in business, marketing, and operations. In 2024, I decided to step away from my job to focus on my girls. I am passionate about building a nurturing space where homeschooling families can connect, learn, and grow together because I have seen just how important community is with going through Lizzie’s health journey. I enjoy gardening, doing arts & crafts, singing, baking, playing games, and reading with my girls and husband.

As a homeschooling mom of one, I love connecting with families who value a slower, more intentional approach to learning and living. I’m passionate about nurturing curious, confident learners by creating space for growth, exploration, and independence. Time outdoors is a big part of our life, something I believe benefits both kids and adults as we connect more deeply with nature and the world around us. Most days, you’ll find me hiking, baking, reading, writing, and spending time with horses.
